As term draws to a close, we would like to remind you of the change to legislation that has been made around the cost of school uniforms and the school's duty to make affordable and second hand uniform available. Last September we had an increase of families turning to the Food Bank because the cost of uniforms had left them without money for food.
With the increased cost of living this will be repeated in larger numbers unless we take action in promoting options for second hand and affordable uniform.
