We welcome all gifts of food or donations of money (but not clothes).
We are always short of tinned meat and also appreciate rice (tinned and dry), tinned vegetables, UHT milk, baby food and food for vegetarians. Washing powder, cleaning products and long-life-carriers are appreciated too! (but we currently have plenty of baked beans and pasta). Or download the Bank the Food app for our up-to-date needs.
We are very happy to accept donations at Monkmoor Street. Please feel free to call in with your donations between 10-12 and 1-3, Monday to Friday.
But there are donation points in nearly all the supermarkets in Hereford: Co-op, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tesco - Bewell Street, and Asda, plus Ned Potter on the Beech Business Park and The Principality Building Society in High Town.
Large donations from businesses or associations are welcome but please phone 01432 607011 in advance to make arrangements.
Donations of money can be in cash or by cheque made out to "The Hereford Food Bank" or you can visit our Facebook page to make an online donation.
Alternatively you could set up a payment directly to our CAF Bank account - the sort code is 40-52-40 and the account number is 00030491 and the name of the account is The Hereford Food Bank.
If you are a UK taxpayer, your donations can be gift aided, please complete a gift aid form and all future gifts will be included in your declaration. To download a gift aid declaration click here.
Cheques and gift aid forms can be posted to The Hereford Food Bank, 41, Monkmoor Street, Hereford, HR1 2DX.
(Our Charity Ref.No. is 1170826)
One other alternative is to donate via Give as You Live but there is a small fee.
